Your Blood Type

Do you know your blood type?

One of the main reasons for knowing your blood type is in the case of an emergency.

Depending on the rarity of your blood type you might be at more risk to catastrophic haemorrhage and receiving incompatible blood.

The universal plasma donor has Type AB blood.

Group AB can donate to other AB’s but can receive from all others. Group B can donate red blood cells to B’s and AB’s. Group O can donate red blood cells to anybody.
